Our management team brings together many years of experience in the care sector, many of whom originally joined Elite Care at Home as carers themselves. They all have first-hand experience of understanding what clients need and ensuring that the highest standards of care are always maintained – find out more about the team below.
Joan Reid
MD and owner
Joan was one of the founders of Elite Care at Home and has been at the forefront of developing its unique range of quality home-care services. Originally from Cambridge, Joan now lives in the East Neuk with her young family.
Carolyn Livesey
Area Nurse Manager, Fife
Carolyn is a first-level qualified nurse and joined the company in 1990, initially as a home care nurse. Her qualities were apparent and she became a Manager in 1991. Carolyn manages some 5,000 hours of services a month for the Fife area. Originally from Cornwall, she now lives in the East Neuk with her grown-up family.
Elaine Young
Area Nurse Manager, Dundee
Elaine originally joined the company in 1989 as a homecare nurse and then rejoined as a Manager for the Dundee area in December 2002 and is now responsible for 5,000 hours of care services per month in the Dundee area. Elaine trained as a first-level nurse in Dundee where she lives with her husband.
Andrea Lang
Area Manager, Perth
Andrea joined the company in 1991 as a home carer providing long-term care to our housebound clients. Building on her extensive experience, she has since become Area Manager for Perth where she is responsible for 2,000 hours of care services per month. Originally from the Perth area, she now lives in Fife close to her family.
Carol Thompson
Domestic Manager
Carol joined the company in 2003 to provide administrative support to our office team. We soon discovered that her talents were in organising and systems and she was quickly promoted to management, where she is responsible for ensuring that all 2,000 hours of domestic and home-help services are delivered each month. Carol lives with her family in Fife.
David Rundle
Service Coordinator, Fife
David has a background in management and has brought a new flair to the company in the short time he has been with us. His main role is to coordinate the provision of the 5,000 hours of care services per month we deliver in the Fife area. David lives in the East Neuk of Fife with his wife and young children.
Elizabeth Whitmore
Service Coordinator, Dundee
Elizabeth first joined the company in March 2005 as a home carer. Her skills and experience made her a natural choice for the role of Service Coordinator for the Dundee area, where she manages 5,000 hours of care services per month.
Sheena Carwood
Service Coordinator, Perth
Sheena joined us as a home carer in July 2008, soon becoming a service coordinator. Her administration experience makes her a highly valued colleague. She is responsible for some 2,000 hours a month in the Perthshire area and, time permitting, also attends clients in a home care capacity. Sheena lives in Crieff with her family and lively dog.
